License Types:

Individual: |
The product is licensed to an individual, or to an individual
PC, but not both. The licensed user may install the software
on any machine he/she uses regularly, including laptops and
home PCs. Alternatively, the software may be installed
on a single workstation, and anyone can use it. |
Site: |
The product is licensed to a building or group of buildings
with close proximity to each other (within 1 mile). Within
this geographical restriction, the software may be installed
on any number of machines with any number of users. All
employees that do the majority of their work at the licensed
site are considered licensed users, and may install the software
on any machine they use regularly, including laptops and home
PCs. |
Corporate: |
The product is licensed to all machines owned by a company,
including its divisions and subsidiaries. It is valid
both domestically and internationally. All employees are
considered licensed users, and may install the software on any
machine they use regularly, including laptops and home PCs. |
Universal: |
FMEAs are part of the QA process shared by a corporation
and its suppliers. The Universal License standardizes
the process of sharing FMEAs by extending the scope of the Corporate
License to include all suppliers of the licensed corporation.
All employees of the licensed corporation and employees of suppliers
are considered licensed users, and may install the software
on any machine they use regularly, including laptops and home
PCs. |
